I had two dogs die of cancer. One 5 years ago and one a year and a half ago. 5 years ago there wasn’t much about CBD for pets. A year and a half ago there was. The vet gave my dog 2 months to live. I brought him home and put him on a CBD regimen. My dog lived another year. He not only lived, but he also started eating again and he wasn’t in as much pain as he had been. The best part was seeing him wagging his tail. CBD’s gave him a better quality of life until the day we had to let him go. CBD’s may not have cured him, but they did give my family more time with him. No matter how hard it was to say goodbye, he will always be with us. This is why I am so passionate about CBD for pets. I believe in it. They are not just our pets……..they are our family.

What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. As of 2019, clinical research on cannabidiol included studies of anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.
Cannabidiol can be taken into the body in multiple ways. As an aerosol spray into the cheek, and by mouth. It may be supplied as CBD oil containing only CBD as the active ingredient (no included tetrahydrocannabinol [THC] or terpenes), a full-plant CBD-dominant hemp extract oil, capsules, dried cannabis, or as a prescription liquid solution. CBD does not have the same psychoactivity as THC. We want what is best for our pets, whether they are dogs, cats, horses, or reptiles. Our pets are our family.
